Our founder Director Shri Vinod Kumar Agrawal started his career by setting up a manufacturing unit of Low-Heat Input Welding Alloys in form of Wire, Rod & Foils like Silver Brazing, Silicon bronze (Brass Brazing), Phosphorus Bronze, Nickel Bronze, Aluminum Brazing & so many other at Vrindaban (Mathura) U.P. These products were generally marketed by reputed giants like Advani Oerlikon Ltd. (Ador Welding Ltd.), Indian Oxygen Ltd. (Esab India Ltd.) & L & T Ltd. in their own brands. Beside this there were large consumers like BHEL, Asia Brown Boveri Ltd., Voltas, Kirloskar, Mazgaon Docks & Neval Dockyard (Defence) to name a few, were also regular buyers for these products.

While having day today dealings with Advani Oerlikon & Indian Oxygen. Our Director Shri Vinod Agrawal obtained a vast knowledge of Welding Electrodes from the technocrats of these market leaders & developed a vision to establish a manufacturing unit of Welding Electrodes in the Western India Region. Thus a plant namely Global Electrodes Pvt. Ltd. was set up in the year 1987 at AHMEDABAD.
