Characteristics : |
A medium–heavy–coated, hydrogen controlled, iron powder type electrode giving 1.2 Cr/0.5 Mo steel deposit. The electrode gives quiet arc, negligible spatter and easily detachable slag. Welds are radiographically sound and can be used in all positions. Creep and heat resistance up to 550˚C
Dry the electrode at 300˚C/1hr for best results. |
Application : |
For welding 1 Cr/0.5 Mo and similar creep – resistant steels represented by ASTM A 182–F2, F11, F12, A387-2, 11, 12; A213-T2, T11, T12; A335-P2, P11, P12 and German Steels 13 Cr Mo 44, 15 Cr Mo 5, etc, used in boilers, power plants, oil-refineries and chemical plants. |
